On-Site Assessment & System Planning:
We start with a site visit to inspect your system’s current layout, roof type, access points, inverter location, racking hardware, and wiring. Then we map out a safe removal plan and coordinate timing with your roofer or contractor.
Safe Electrical Shutdown: Our technicians isolate your system from the grid following all NEC and utility requirements. We ensure safe shutdown of all live wires, battery systems (if present), and disconnects.
Labeling & Documentation: Every panel, wire, and component is labeled before disassembly to ensure perfect reconstruction later. We also photograph the array, conduit paths, and electrical settings for reference.
Panel & Hardware Removal: We carefully remove your panels, racking, and (if scoped) associated components like inverters, optimizers, or conduit. All hardware is stored securely — either on-site or in transport-safe packaging.
Coordination During Roofing/Upgrades:
While your other contractors do their work, we remain available to coordinate timing and answer questions. If roofers need deck repair or layout changes, we can adjust the reinstall plan.
Reinstallation & Recommissioning: Once your roof is complete, we reinstall all solar components in the correct configuration — with updated flashings, waterproof seals, and new fasteners as needed. We reconnect the system, test production, and verify monitoring platforms are working. You’ll receive a final walkthrough and system report.
